Pixelabs builds websites, apps, SEO and AI voice agents for businesses across the GTA. Every project is written from scratch, so the work is building things rather than configuring them. We hire in two stages, and both open roles start on contract and convert to full-time.

OPEN ROLES

Backend Developer

Three-month contract to start, converting to full-time.

The data and the services behind the builds: APIs, schemas, integrations, and the pipelines that run the voice agents.

What you would work on

  • APIs and data models behind client apps
  • Payment, booking and calendar integrations
  • The call handling and handoff behind AI voice agents
  • Deployment, migrations and the health of what is already live

What we look for

  • You have shipped backends that other people depend on
  • You are comfortable in TypeScript and SQL
  • You can explain a trade-off in plain language
  • You write things down so the next person can follow them

Frontend Developer

Three-month contract to start, converting to full-time.

The part clients and their customers touch: interfaces built from scratch in Next.js and TypeScript, on phones as well as desktops.

What you would work on

  • Client sites and app interfaces built from components, not templates
  • Dashboards, booking flows and checkout screens
  • Accessibility and keyboard paths through everything we ship
  • Performance on the phones our clients' customers actually use

What we look for

  • You have built interfaces people use daily
  • You are fluent in TypeScript, React and CSS
  • You care how something behaves, not only how it looks
  • You can take a design and ask the right questions about it
